The first weeks postpartum are filled with joy and excitement as you get to know your newborn. It can also be an extremely challenging time for families and postpartum doula support can help you navigate this special yet unique time. In my 15 years as a birth doula I have had the opportunity to provide postpartum support to many of the families I've supported, as well as my own daughter who welcomed my first grandson into our home in August of 2018 and another in July of 2023!

Your postpartum experience can benefit in so many ways from the right support. Visits can be scheduled for the time of day that works best for your family (overnight support not offered at this time). At the start of each visit we will assess together what your most pressing needs are and I am happy to provide the following services during postpartum visits:

  • Feeding support to include latching, positioning assistance
  • Understanding Baby Cues
  • Diapering and hands-on Baby Care education
